Barrel Sleeve Cardigan | Chocolate/Ivory Trellis

Our Fall '24 SS Heritage Knitwear Collection was inspired by Sue’s love for elevated, soft, luxurious knits, combined with an appreciation for pattern play and her fond memories of wearing this style in the 80’s and beyond. Sue has always wanted to make her own version of SUE SARTOR cardigans and vests that pair perfectly over our dresses and accommodate our signature balloon sleeves. The vision came to fruition as we thoughtfully designed a double-barrel sleeve cardigan with a wide cuff, allowing for it to drape at the wrist gorgeously, and a vest with side slits that can be worn alone or paired as a twin set.

The Trellis design motif made up of our signature marigold blooms has become very relevant for our brand, as much of what we do celebrates nature and the magic of the garden. For our special SUE SARTOR Heritage Knitwear Collection, we designed these beautiful trellis knit patterns with sweet marigold buds centered in the sweet trellis diamonds perfectly.

Every style is a collectable classic. Each piece is hand-knitted of 100% fine eco-friendly and sustainably sourced baby alpaca. They are soft and luxurious. The process and the product are meticulous and beautiful. Style them with our dresses and skirts, or with your favorite pair of jeans.

Most styles run true to size with effortless ease through the waist and hips, while fit is set at the bust and shoulders. For a fuller bust, you may prefer sizing up in our dresses and tops.

Note: Palladio, Leela, and Hamilton Kaftans run more generously, and clients often size down.
